Help people who lost their homes in the Altadena Eaton fire

On January 7, 2025, the town of Altadena in Southern California suffered an unprecedented fire driven by 90-mile per hour Santa Ana winds. Over the next few days, more than 6,000 homes and businesses were destroyed, nearly half  the town. 

I grew up in Altadena and still have many friends there. I wrote Altadena Strong to honor the town's 100-year history, the strength and diversity of the people of Altadena, and to convey a sense of hope for recovery and rebuilding.
